住みやすく安全でクリーンなまち

　まち全体が人にやさしいバリアフリーとなり、 安全な道路網ができています。上下水道も完備し、 都市型生活がまちのすみずみまで普及しています。

　住民の環境に対する意識も高まって、家庭排水 やゴミは少なくなり、水も空気も土もきれいです。

　救急救命医療体制、防災体制も充実し、みんな が安心してくらしています。

自然と共生するまち

　 　豊かな自然が大切に守られています。 公共工事は自然環境に配慮し、まちの 緑が減らないよう努力しています。山 への植林も続け、農業を大切にして田 畑の美しさも守ります。川や沼には魚 が住み、草むらでは虫が鳴き、街路樹 で鳥が歌う、自然の美しいまちとなっ ています。

たくさんの人が訪れるまち

　桃をはじめ保原のおいしい果物は、全国に その名を知られています。花の季節も実りの 季節も美しく楽しく、町並もすてきです。

　ニットは時代を超えたハイセンスで高品質 のものが生産されています。また、特産の真 綿を使った新しい織物も開発されています。

　伝統行事も大切に引き継がれ、たくさんの 見物客が集まります。

　四季を通して「おもしろい保原」は、たく さんの人が訪れるいきいきしたまちとなって います。

A clean and safe town.

The town is designed to be as barrier free as possible so that people can move about easily and safely．With good waste management and a developing sense of preservation house-hold waste，industrial waste，and water usage have all been on the decrease．

　Also，proper sewage，disaster control，and modern emergency preparedness make for a very safe living environment．

A town that lives close to nature．

　Nature's riches are closely protected．The local administration is making every effort to preserve green spaces and avoid deforestation for the buildng of new facilities．The town′s people are constantly planting young trees and doing everything in their power to preserve the natural beauty of their environment．There is an ever increasing number off fish in the rivers and many birds sing among the trees that line the streets． Nature is an integral part of Hobara．

A town that is well visited．

During all four seasons many people visit Hobara．They come to enjoy its delicious fruit（peaches，apples，plums，etc.），the beautiful cherry blossoms，and the traditional festivals that have been handed down from generation to generation．

　Hobara′s charm and vivacity gathers a great number of visitors from all over Japan.
