The Kawahigashi-town mayor of Fukushima Prefecture

　At the same time, as my town's mayor installation, our town has been providing an opportunity of studying computer literacy, English conversation and understanding of our hometown for students of elementary school and junior high school in Kawahigashi.
　Pioneering this program in Fukushima prefecture is going into orbit finally by the IT policy promotion by our country.
　As it becomes the third year of this program, by cooperation with a professor of Aizu University, Ms. Hisako Murakawa and the third sector, Aizu Liaison Office, Inc. supporting this program, we have been thinking of making texts of the English and Japanese sentence interlinear translation about hometown understanding. In the same time, the colony editing committee which is mainly lead by Isao Shirakawa, the editorial chairperson, was established as a project of the district in the Motomachi-town, the Nishiyashiki colony. As we started to restudy the history and ancestors of the colony because of the committee, each project was also begun developing.
　And it overlaps with "the town making support program" by Fukushima prefecture Aizu district promotion bureau. I sincerely appreciate to send the hometown understanding texts for children at the early time.
　Utilizing this text from now, I expect that children in Kawahigashi grow up excellently as the members of the society to be specialists of the international understanding. I wish to express my appreciation to the persons concerned who made efforts this time and also express the word of the rewarding.
