紫に輝くこの花は、秋の草花のうちでももっとも寿命が長く、寒さに耐え、その繁殖力と生命力は、これからの磐梯町をいかにも象徴しています。町の木：こぶし

雪どけの頃、残雪をみせる磐梯山のすそ野に白い花びらを開かせ、郷土に春を告げる希望に満ちた木です。

町の鳥：おおるり

青い鮮やかな色をした鳥で、岩はだに巣をつくり磐梯町の環境の良さを物語る鳥といえます。
