Greeting

In September 1956(Showa 31st year)Kido-mura merged with Tatsuta-mura and became Naraha-machi.

Naraha-machi is blessed with the rich natural environment and the warm climate. The town is located on the coast of Fukushima-ken, and is making steady development in various fields such as constructing nuclear power stations and so on.

In addition, by further construction of the Joban Express Highway, we will build a rapid transportation network, and reinforcement of a traffic system will be made to connect the metropolitan area including other cities, towns, and villages.

We try to structure our town on the basis of “Town where you can meet and contact with the rich nature and the kindness.”In recent years, visitors to the town are increasing because of construction of the facilities such as the National (Soccer) Training Center called J-Village, and Michinoeki (Road station to provide various services to drivers and visitors). Tenjinmisaki Sports Park and the hot spring has splendid views of the Pacific Ocean-we are making best use of the blessings from nature. Our objective is to create the town filled with full of energy in cooperation with both the townspeople and the administration.

Entering the 21st century, to make further progress, we will promote to make the town more independent and on our own account by developing various measures. Living together with the beautiful natural environment, we would like to devote ourselves to create the town where all the townspeople from children to older people can live safely with good health, and where the townspeople can realize the richness of a heart.

This town administration handbook is introducing a true picture of Naraha-machi and I would be happy if this handbook helps you to understand more about the town.

致詞

楢葉町是在昭和31年（1956年）9月、由木戸和龍田兩個村合併而誕生。這是一個具有美麗自然環境和温暖氣候及風土人情的、位于福島県海濱地帯的城鎮。随着原子能發電所等事業的建設、給等地各領域的發展帯来了很大的利益。常磐高速公路建設的進展、高速公路網的編成、将給本町与其他地区的城鎮的連接、特別是和首都周囲地域交通的聯糸打下了更加堅実的基礎。

楢葉町的建設是以“和豊富的大自然共生存、人們和睦相処、互相交流”為目的的。

近年来、由于国際足球訓練中心和楢葉公路間休站等設施的建成、這就更加大了交流活動范圍。還有対面臨太平洋的優美的“天神岬運動公園”和温泉等的有效利用、使居民与政府之間相互協助、並正在着手從事建設一個美好的、充満生氣和活力的城鎮的事業。

面対21世紀、在現有的基礎之上、為使本町得以更加飛躍的發展、目前正在努力着手実施踏々実々的、有自主性和自立性的建町工作。与自然環境共同生息、使小孩到老人大家都健康地確実感到是一個能安心生活的城鎮。
