自主独立へのサポート

　保原町には、幼稚園五、小学校 五、中学校二の公立教育機関があ ります。心の教育に重点を置き、

• 心豊かな人間の育成
• 自己教育力の育成
• 基礎・基本の重視と個性を重ん じる教育

――　の三つを課題として います。

　また、国際化社会に対応できる 素地を作るため、中学校英語の授 業での外国人教員の招致、海外派 遣などの国際交流を進めています。

　子供達がまっすぐ、個性豊かに 育つことを願って、保原町はこれ からも地域社会と一緒に、理想的 な教育の姿を追い求めていきます。

We are trying to promote education through interaction with the community．Citizens with special skills or rich experiences assist in teaching children helping them to increase their general knowledge and broaden their horizons．　With this interaction the students truly enjoy their classes and get a feel of being part of the community．

In Hobara there are　6　kindergartens，2　nursery schools，5　elementary schools，and 2 junior high schools．A well balanced education is the main goal with English being an important part．English teachers from abroad are invited to help with English instruction but are also essential in developing the children′s sense of international relations．
