　3)交通秩序(ちつじょ)の確立(かくりつ)
　Establishment of traffic orders
　この会には、町長(ちょうちょう)さんをはじめとして、小学校や中学校の校長(こうちょう)先生も入っています。
　First of all,the mayor is in this association,and there are principals of the elementary schools and thejunior high school,too.
　交通安全対策協議会(こうつうあんぜんたいさくきょうぎかい)が中心(ちゅうしん)になって行う町民(ちょうみん)大会やパレードには、交通安全脇会(あんぜん)、交通安全母の会、小学校、中学校、PTAなどが参加(さんか)し、交通安全をよびかけています。
　The traffic safety assembly takes the lead to hold a townsman meeting and the parade,and the trafficsafety association,the mother's association of traffic safety,the elementary schools,the junior highschool,and PTA,etc.participate them to appeal traffic safety.
　また、町(まち)では交通安全のために、交通安全町民大会、交通安全教室(きょうしつ)、街頭指導(がいとうしどう)をして、交通安全のよびかけをしています。
　Moreover,the town is holding the traffic safety towns manmeeting,the traffic safety classroom,andthe street guidance to appeal the traffic safety.

2.　火事(かじ)をふせぐ Preventing a Fire

　火事(かじ)はわたしたちの大切(たいせつ)な家や家具(かぐ)、それに人の命(いのち)までもうばいとってしまうおそろしいものです。
　A fire is afearful thing that takes our precious houses and furniture,and even our ives.
　火事がおきたら、広がらないうちに早く消(け)しとめなければなりません。
　We must put out a fire before it spreads out.
　河東町は、会津若松地方広域消防機関(あいづわかまつちほうこういきしょうぼうきかん)に入っていて、近くの13市町村(しちょうそん)と脇力(きょうりょく)し合って消火活動(かつどう)を行(おこな)うことになっています。
　The Kawahigashi-twn is in the large region fire organization of Aizu-Wakamatsu,and is supposed todo a fire-fighting activity by cooperating with 13 nearby cities,towns,and villages.
　119番通報から、消防車(しょうぼうしゃ)が各小学校にとう着するまでの時間を聞(き)いてみたところ、河東第一小学校4分、河東第二小学校7分、河東第三小学校4分でした。
　When we asked how long a fire engine takes to go to each school after they got the 119 call,we foundout that it takes 4 minutes to the Kawahigashi first elementary school,7 minutes to the Kawahigashisecond elementary school,4 minutes to the Kawahigashi third elementary school.

　河東町には、第三小学校の学区(がっく)(高畑地区(たかばたけちく))に十文字山張所(じゅうもんじしゅちょうじょ)があります。
　In the Kawahigashi-Town,there is the Jumonji branch office in the school district of the thirdelementary school(Takabatake district)
　この出張所には、消防車(しょうぼうしゃ)が2台、救急車(きゅうきゅうしゃ)が1台あります。
　There are 2 fire engines and oneambulance in this branch office.
　河東町では、火事(かじ)がおきたとき、また、おこらないようにするために、どのようなことをしているのでしょうか。
