「フルーツの香り漂うロマンの里大熊町」では、豊かな自然を生かして、梨、キウイフルーツの生産量が高く、全国に向けて出荷されています。
また、ヒラメの養殖施設は第三セクターで事業運営を行ない、年間3万尾を養殖しています。成魚は東京や地元で消費され、町の特産品として「つくり育てる漁業」に取り組んでいます。WE FOSTER THE GROWTH OF ACTIVE INDUSTRIES ROOTED IN REGIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
At Okuma Town, (a country side filled with dreams where a smell of fruit hangs in the air), we produce a great amount of pears and kiwi fruit, making the most of abundant natural resources, and we ship them out to the four corners of Japan.
Also, the Flatfish Breeding Facility runs business in the third sector, breeding 30,OOO flatfish annually. The grown flatfish are consumed both in Tokyo and here locally, and we are now striving to develop and foster the fishery sector so that we may feature seafood delicacies as the special products of our town.地域の特性を活かしながら、付加価値の高い産業づくりを目指します。
