上記の表から,特に(2),(3),(4),の領域でclassroom Englishのはいり込むspacesがじゅうぶんにあることがわかる。要は hearing の chance を見出すことではなくて,現実に横たわっている手持ちのspaceを生かすか否かということである。
(3)活動内容と具体例
次の英文は,主としてN. P. E. C.の中にある言語材料からとりあげた一例である。classroom というきわめて限定された社会であっても,人間が動けば各種各様の事態の起りうる可能性はある。生徒の実態に応じ,授業の内容や進展に即してvariationを加えてゆけばおのずから迫力に富んだ授業展開が期待されるであろう。
